Snoopy Crochet Pattern, Part 3.

Happy Monday, everybody!

This is the final part of the snoopy crochet pattern. I hope you have found the patterns to be easy to follow so far.

Let's get started:

Arms (Make 2)
With white yarn,
Sc 6 in a magic ring.
R1: 2 sc in each sc.
R2: *Sc 5, 2 sc in next sc*, twice.
R3: *Sc 6, 2 sc in next sc*, twice.
R4 - R5: 1 sc in each sc around.
R6: *Sc 6, sc2tog*, twice.
R7 - R8: 1 sc in each sc around.
R9: *Sc 5, sc2tog*, twice.
R10: Sc 1 in each sc around.
R11: *Sc 4, sc2tog*, twice.
R12: Sc 1 in each sc around.
Finish off, leaving a long tail to sew.
Stuff and sew onto body. Make sure you sew the arm close as you sew them onto the body! I attached the head to the body first, and then I sewed the arms 1 row under where his "neck" is. This is so that I would have room for his collar!

Legs (Make 2)
With white yarn,
8 sc in a magic ring.
R1: 2 sc in each sc.
R2: *Sc 7, 3 sc in next sc*, twice
R3: 1 sc in each sc.
R4: *Sc 9, 3 sc in next sc*, twice
R5: In back loops only: sc 1 in each sc around.
R6 - R7: 1 sc in each sc around.
R8: In back loops only: sc 6, dc 6, sc 6, hdc 6.
R9: *Sc 2, sc2tog*, repeat around.
R10: In front loops only: *Sc 1, sc2tog*, repeat around.
R11 - R13: Sc 1 in each sc around.
Finish off, leaving a tail to sew onto body.
Stuff, sew onto body. I sewed his legs more towards the front of his body than the sides.

Collar
With red yarn,
Chain as many chains as you need that will ensure a snug collar on Snoopy's neck. I had 18 chains. Once you have enough chains, finish off and leave a tail for you to be able to tie the collar onto Snoopy. Join the two ends of the collar on Snoopy's neck with whatever method you wish and cut off any extra unsightly tail.

Back dot (I never knew Snoopy had a black dot on his back until I was looking at some pictures of him before I began my project! This is optional.)
With black yarn,
Sc 6 into a magic ring.
R1: 2 sc in each sc.
R2: *Sc 5, 3 sc in next sc*, twice.
Sl st to join. Fasten off. Sew onto the middle of Snoopy's back!

Now that you have your Snoopy, I would like to ask you to please, please, please do not sell this pattern. You can make as many Snoopys as you want and give them to people. Heck, you can even sell the dolls if you want (referring back to me would be appreciated!). But the pattern is my first pattern-child and I wanted to give it away for free, so please don't try to profit from it. With that said, you can share this pattern with as many people as you want. I know there are many Snoopy lovers out there!

    i had a little stuffed-snoopy when i was a baby and i lost him about two years ago(i am almost 30 now!). i found your snoopy on ravelry and i almost cried! it's designed soooo wel!

    Thank you!!! I have to tell you, I wish I would have found this pattern 3 years ago, but I'll use it for the same son again in the future. He was 21 at the time and laying in KU Med Center's level 1 trauma center with skull fractures, broken neck, broken back and serious brain injury. He had a little Snoopy when he was a little guy and it had been chewed up by oru dog. He LOVED that thing. Found one on the internet for waaaay too much money, and in his moves through the hospital and rehab, IT was lost. Now I can replace it easily!!!! thanks Barb

    I am working on Snoopy. Since you did not have the number of stitches at the end of each row, I tried to do that to make sure I was doing it correctly. On R15, I show that there are 36 sc. On R16 it says to dc or double crochet 4 stitches, and then dc2tog or dc decrease and then do this 3 more times. IF I am reading this right, that would only use up 24 sc. I am left with 12 that I have not used. What am I not doing right here? Please someone help. Thank you.

I actually paired my yarn up with fun fur yarn and switched the black to brown to make Snoopy's brother Andy for my first one (no one ever has an Andy so I have to make one for myself!)     I'm so glade you posted the pattern of Snoopy, but, what ever happen to part two for snoopy's body? Got his head ears arms legs red collar but what happen to his stomach(body)? I wanted to finnish the snoopy for my son's 25th birthday. He loves his peanuts character especially snoopy...

    I was wondering if you did a tail? Snoopy has a tail below his black spot on his back and the top part has black on it. Thanks much for this pattern. Just getting started on it.

    i have been working on this little guy for a while time for my father in law for fathers day he is super cute and he is my first doll i have ever made and he looks awesome!! Thank you for the pattern if it wasnt for this pattern I would not have been able to gift him a gift this year I have ran out of idea to give the man lol

    Tail: each increase is done in the previous increase so the tail has a curved shape

    In MR, sc 4
    2sc, sc in next 3 sts – 5
    2sc, sc in next 4 sts – 6
    2sc, sc in next 5 sts – 7
    2sc, sc in next 6 sts – 8
    Sc even for 4 rows – 8 each row
    Fasten off, leave 12″ tail for sewing on. I lightly stuffed the base of the tail with fiberfill.

    Thank you so much for this snoopy pattern. I'm English so I have spent the morning translating your pattern to English. I am so grateful as I have been searching for a snoopy pattern for my sister and I to do as a project together as she has brain cancer. This will help stimulate her brain. So I hope at the end we will have a snoopy each. She has been in love with snoopy since she was 2 years old.( now she is 40) This is so special and I thank you.

    Thank you for the pattern! My best friend loves snoopy and asked for me to make a door wreath with snoopy and Woodstock. I made one and he came outo too large, so I worked up a second one in no time at all and he's just perfect!
